Ndlovu is found immediately inside Hlane Royal National Park's main gate, easily accessible via the well-maintained tar Simunye road and offers a wide range of accommodation including camping, rondavels and self-catering cottages - all located near to a large open-air restaurant which overlooks a waterhole frequented by Elephant and White Rhino. It is romantically lit by candle and lanterns at night where the absence of electricity makes for an authentic stay in the bush.

Bhubesi is located 14km from Ndlovu Camp and can be accessed by self-driving through the parks internal roads. The camp encapsulates six self-contained and self-catering beautiful stone cottages with all the comforts of home, including electricity, in a pristine riverine setting.

Guests at both camps along with day visitors can take advantage of a wide range of activities - self-drive roads, Open Land Rover Game Drives, Lion or Rhino Tours, Guided Mountain Bike Trails, Birding Walks and the Umphakatsi Visit to the neighbouring real Chief's Village which all depart from the activity centre at Ndlovu Camp. Hlane also offers one or two night fully-catered Ehlatsini Bush Trails - ideal for bush fanatics!

Itinerary

First stop

Get picked up from your place of stay in and around Manzini and Mbabane but further places a pick up fee may apply.

Drive to Manzini where we will make our first stop at the Manzini market  where you can make some small shopping for gifts. We will have here a one hour stop and there after we heading down directly to Hlane National Park towards the east.drive time estimate:1hr

And we will join following Safari adventuresat 11:00 and this will last till 12:30

After this drive we will come back to our Lunch which is a BBQ (beef and sausages)

and some salads.But for those who dont eat meat should tell us prior.

But our Lunch will only be ready at 1pm. There is lots of things to kill the time till lunch such as visiting the gift shop, and walking over the water hole.

The First Drive- all our Game drives are in Safari Vehicles

The Rhino Drive at Hlane has been developed with the sole intention of seeing as many White Rhino as possible – now traversing the big game area of Hlane. The bonus of this activity is of focusing on the Rhinos and safety permitting, Hlane’s expert guides will allow visitors to disembark from the vehicle and quietly walk up to the Rhinos while remaining in the vicinity of the vehicle.

Offering excellent value, this unique, intimate encounter provides valuable insights into Rhino behaviour while also ensuring their continued safety in a protected environment

Spend time observing these gentle and endangered giants in their natural habitat on a two
and a half hour Land Rover drive through Hlane’s lowveld wilderness.
Local Swazi guides will share their wealth of bush and rhino knowledge with you including
the identification in English and siSwati of animals, trees, medicinal plants, grasses,
insects and birds in addition to basic tracking skills.

And after Lunch Mid day Game Drive -starting at 2pm

Enjoy this unforgettable midday game drive into Hlane Royal National Park where lion,
elephant, leopard and rhino roam free! Hlane has a network of interconnecting roads that
allows for excellent game viewing.
Close encounters with four of the Big 5 and other species such as warthogs, mongoose,
waterbucks, kudus an array of birdlife can be spotted. The prolific bird life is colorful with
well over 200 resident species including the highest density of tree nesting vultures in all of
Africa!
Our local Swazi guide will provide detailed explanations on not only various antelope
species to be encountered along the way but also on the park’s marvelous fauna and flora.
This game drive passes the famous Mahlindza waterhole where many animals can be
seen quenching their thirst, providing an excellent platform for photography, bird watching
and game viewing.
